Rebecca Orr’s practice focuses on spaces of the in-between, a hazy grasp on ambiguous ideas and feelings including comfort, abjection, nostalgia, and the subconscious. Working predominantly in painting, textiles, and sculpture she creates a multimedia landscape rooted in trying to figure things out. Her practice is inherently intimate, however often falls onto feelings and circumstances that are widely understood.
